From being a racer at a local level, the passion for Classic racing; and pure road bikes has developed through the years to create Maestro UK as it is today, with only the very best road bikes on display, Italian of course, and mainly Colnago, who with his passion has crafted the most perfect examples of the craft.

Maestro Mike's policy is to provide, and build, cycles fit for the brutal Belgian Classics, which of course can be used in any arena of road cycling, free of the problems encountered with ordinary bikes, but at highly competitive prices.

Maestro is not connected in any way to the authorised dealer networks, in this trade who operate price fixing cartels, to the detriment of the public, and in breach of the UK anti competitive laws.

Under the Competition act 1998 and article 81 of the EC treaty, non competitive price cartels,( where authorised dealers, or distributors all charge the same price for goods,) are illegal, and can incur a fine of 10% of the firms turnover, furthermore, a prison sentance of up to 5 years can be applied, firms or companies operating in such a way, should be reported to the Office of Fair trading, or the DTI.
